THE MACADAMIA STORY
A Macadamia Village has become synonymous with quality, affordable and
independent living for the 49-and-better community since the mid 1990s,
when the first Macadamia development was completed in White River. Since
then a further two Macadamia developments have continued this legacy:
Macadamia Village West Acres in Nelspruit and Macadamia Village Tzaneen.
The Macadamia vision has always been to enable residents to enjoy
independent living in their own homes within the Village, but to have
high-quality assisted care facilities on hand should they ever be
needed. A Macadamia Care Centre, which offers 24-hour care by registered
nurses and trained caregivers, aims to be a place where the individual
needs of a resident are provided for in a home away from home
environment. The trusted developers of the Macadamia brand, Tony
Lagerwey (Pty) Ltd, are now bringing this same vision and level of
quality care to their new joint development with HL Halls & Sons (Pty)
